”FlexStone” is an exciting choice for projects where the material selection and the style deviate from the norm.

The unique, module-based format is made for innovation. ”FlexStone” is 6 milimetres smaller than the Danish normal format. The small size difference offers the opportunity for talented architects and workers to try out infinite options.

The idea of ”flexstone”

”Systems that open up possibilities, instead of creating limits have always fascinated me. Perhaps I've inspired myself from my childhood in Billund, close to Lego. ”FlexStone” is, one could say, a Lego piece of a larger product that allows you to create endless combinations.”

Facts about ”flexstone”

”FlexStone” measures 48 x 108 x 228 mm. The unique and crucial difference in comparison to the Danish normal format is that the height of the ”FlexStone” is 6 mm shorter. For 1 m² of brickwork, you use approx. 70 bricks. For 30 cm, five layers are adequate. The bracing fits inside doors with a height of 2.10 m. Varied masonry in, for example, jack arches or rowlock arches, are cheaper when using ”FlexStone” than with the Danish normal format.

Easy variation

It's easier to create beautiful brickwork solutions, to fit all sizes. If a wall has a rowlock arch as a finish, this can be easily turned into a jack arch or into two normal arches in the building phase, so that they fit all dimensions.

Easy savings

If you had to do without some masonry solutions in order to save money, this can easily be changed. When, for example, you miss out a jack arch on a dado, this doesn't affect the height ratio and the back-up elements, as all dimensions fit.

Build the right house first time

It costs a little more to have a completely brick built house, but it's a very worthwhile investment. The inner walls made of bricks help to adjust the building's temperature, as they store heat and cool air.
