THE SAFE SOLUTION

Together with Knudsen Kilen, Carlsberg Bjælker has developed a safe solution.

Pre-stressed lintels and brick beams may not be drilled. Carlsberg Bjælker has proposed the ViTo hinge as a safe and simple solution to mount the window and door elements onto the upper edge of brick lintels and beams, becoming a market leader in the process.

The ViTo hinges in lintels and brick beams ensure correct and above all, quick mounting, with cold bridge insulation in brick lintels and beams. The ViTo hinges can be mounted, depending on the masonry, either in the front lintels or in the back-up lintels. If the window or door front is placed correctly, it will be pre-drilled, and the mounting screw will be inserted through the window frame and the three braces in the ViTo hinge.The brick lintels/beam with embedded ViTo hinges are also supplied with a 55 x 30-mm polystyrene strip coated with glue to go between the braces of the hinge to serve as insulation against cold bridges along the whole element.
